The school's founder Mr. Peter G. Key studied navigation theory
then gained experience aboard
M.V. Mereghan between Nassau and
Miami,
F.V. Guanahani on a voyage from Nassau to Crooked
Island, Acklins, Cat Island and return,
M.V. Forestal on a voyage
from Boca Grande, Florida, to Acajutla, El Salvador, via the
Panama Canal returning to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Mr. Key's specialty is the teaching of Celestial Navigation although
the greatest demand from students is for the Terrestrial
Navigation Course which integrates exercises and examinations
based upon the Bahamas-Florida areas.

The first class of the Terrestrial Navigation Course is FREE to the
public so as to allow interested persons to ask questions, take
notes and determine if the course is suited to their requirements.

No fees are payable until the second class and equipment does not
have to be purchased (from the school) until the third week of
classes (class #5).
